| i am so pleased with everything right now. the Lord has really been working in my life lately! i am just so thankful for the friends that i have, in highlands, baytown, and in austin! i got a job! i live in an apartment and can take a bath and shower in my own bathtub. i can sit on the toilet! i can sleep on a full sized bed and it be mine for the first time and not a hotel's! i have my own room! i'm making good grades. the weather is nice! God has given me everything, and though everything doesn't always go my way, i have started to see the good things amidst the bad! this is soooooo exciting!
God has given me so much peace! even in the midst of "nastiness", i am still able to say that i am happy with my life! i am definitely not the most perfect person at all, but God has given me so much to be grateful for, that i don't feel i have a reason to complain. if things don't go the way they should, or if it is not pleasing to Him, God has given me the option of praying and knowing that He is there always.

| so, things at school have been going fairly well. i'm enjoying this year oh so much better!! i do miss home sometimes though. i miss my parents, my family, my puppies and kitty, my friends, my "sisters" (i miss you guys so much and will try to call you soon), tuesday night bible studies with the baytown crew, etc. i miss you guys, and know that i think of all of you, even if i'm not able to call as often. . .i need some emails, because i can do that during my classes sometime, so ifyou miss me, give me your emails!! | | |
| school has been stressing me out soooooo much!! i cannot wait until tuesday comes along and relieves me of all of this build up of school work!! other than that. . .austin is awesome, as always. but i do miss my people at home!!! i started going to campus crusades meetings. they're really nice and make everyone feel so welcome! tuesdays are nice for me. i haven't been able to attend cell groups (small group meetings) quite yet because of school work. . .but after tuesday, i should be able to start attending them. it's so nice to have a community!! | | |
